About Munson Guitars

Our custom guitar heritage has its roots in our family’s love for working with wood. Over the last 70 years, we’ve produced everything from wooden engineered houses to bespoke fine furniture. Munson Guitars is the culmination of our passion for wood, along with the innovative and enabling new technology we use and our love of music.

Tempest Custom Guitar

With styling inspired by the classic T-style design that has been rocking the world for decades, the tempest custom guitar is a blend of traditional craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technologies. Named after the RAF fighters, both old and new, the tempest combines flowing curves and hard edges. It’s a guitar that feels smooth and plays fast.

The Munson Tempest is endlessly configurable. Woods, pickups, hardware, controls, colour and finish opinions are all selectable. This makes your guitar unique to you and built the way you want it.

Marauder Custom Guitar

The marauder custom shop guitar is a re-imagining of the classic off-set J-style featuring lighter and more resonant wood and hand wound pickups which give this instrument a distinctive tone. Like the inspiration for its name, the RAF adopted B-26 American twin engine bomber, the marauder will do the heavy lifting in any situation. With one, two or three pickups and a distinct shape, the marauder adapts to any situation, whether on stage, in the studio or jamming at home.

Mosquito Custom Guitar

Inspired by the ultra high speed RAF Mosquito twin engine multirole combat aircraft, the Mosquito custom guitar is designed to be played standing or resting in one of two positions when seated. The curved top and intuitive control layout adds to its playability and makes this your goto guitar wherever, however you play.
